Sugga’s Leadership Academy will serve as a "one-stop shop", offering alternative programs for engaging talented youth, ages 14-21 in creative learning environment. The Academy will implement high-quality programs that offer students academic/educational enrichment and recreational activities that are designed to reinforce and complement the regular academic program of participating students.

A select number of student’s grades will be selected during the school year. The program ends after students have completed at least two years college or post secondary training. Approximately 75 students are selected based on their applications, recommendations, family interviews and availability of program funds.

Students participate in the Academy by attending leadership training sessions, after-school classes, internships, etc. They are also required to communicate with their leadership groups in between training sessions to make progress on their projects. In addition, students are required to complete 30 hours of community service annually.

Sugga’s Leadership Academy will also offer grants and scholarship opportunities, expected to start in mid 2015
